Start miles l6,ll6. Left the casino around 9:30 after a walk around the area. Traveled 328 miles to Chamberlain, SD. Stopped for fuel in Minnesota 12 miles before SD. Stopped in Mitchell, SD at the "Corn Palace. It's a facility that they use as a gym plus other activities and entertainment. The outside is decorated totally w/corn and corn products. They change the corn every year. We had very strong and gusting winds from the south all day. Temp got to 87 in Mitchell but fell almost 20 degrees in the 72 miles we traveled to Chamberlain. We got setup just before a strong thunderstorm hit. Had some light hail. Had a great view of the Missouri River and saw green lush hills. Ate buffalo burgers at Al's Oasis restaurant. They sold coffee for 5 cents.
