It is another beautiful day. I can't believe how lucky we have been this past week w/a lot of sunshine and warm temps. After a country breakfast, with Van & DeAnna, they took us for a tour of their farm. It is so nice to see how clean everything was. So many people let their farms go w/rusty equipment, etc. sitting out.
Barn use to be filled with cows at one time, but no longer. They plan to make it into another storage building for their equipment.
Van is standing inside one of the Seed Bins. That is the auger that will move the seed around to dry it. Before the end of their season, this bin will be filled with seed.
Another Good Bye to Van and DeAnna. They were so nice to let us stay with them over the night and share a couple meals. They are a great couple and look forward to spending more time w/them in Mesa once they get all their crops in. Very gracious hosts. Thanks again!!
We saw more fields of Sun Flowers so, of course, had to take more pictures. See how they are facing the same direction - all towards the sun.
Bye from North Dakota and Hello to Minnesota. We arrived in Minneapolis around 7 p.m. Got caught in the Rush Hour traffic. That has happened more than once - you would think we would have learned - not!! We are staying at a Casino Campground - very impressive. Huge Indian Casino. They have lights shooting towards the sky in the shape of a Tee Pee - go figure. We called Mark McNeill, cousin, to see if he would like to come over or grab a bite to eat since Sheila, his wife, was out of town. We had a great time at a local pub. Haven't seen Mark in a long time so we had a lot of catching up to do. Will see him again Saturday a.m. for breakfast w/Sheila. Lights out for another day. Have a good one.
