We left our dear friends, Char and Greg in Horsefly to visit more friends in Kelowna. It was a very nice day so we had a good drive. We found out that this part of the country is "farm land". We saw a lot of horses and cows. Farmers were working their fields and baling hay. A huge difference from the area we just left.
Fields covered w/baled hay
Herds of cattle
Fields of beautiful horses
Stacks of rolled hay
We are finally here after a ll% downgrade. Our brakes started smelling and smoking so we stopped and let them cool off. We got a bit nervous but then we found out that we were very close to the bottom of the mountain - thank goodness.
Claude was here to greet us at the entrance to the campground. What a welcome sight.
Marlene made us a very nice dinner. We met their son and his family and their friends. We talked to the wee hours of the night. It was so beautiful out that we hated to go inside but it was late and we had a lot planned for the next dayl
