Miles 17,741. Left at 9:30. Stopped in Fort Macleod and toured the fort and watched an interesting movie. Ft. Macleod was the headquarters of the Northwest Mounted Police in Western Canada,established in l874 on an island. Due to flooding down the river, had to be moved to higher ground. Drove past Calgary to Cochran west of Calgary. Had rain much of the drive. Cool weather. We had a moose cross the 4 lane road ahead of us. Stayed at Spring Hill RV Park which was pretty decent. I got the new grill going. The area in and around Cochran is just beautiful and the houses are huge.
