We all went downtown to the visitor’s center at 9 AM to take a group photo at milepost 0 of the Alaskan Highway. We explored the Art Gallery and gift shop then the visitor’s center. We had Gilbert and Jenna with us and went out of town to the Kiskatinaw Bridge. We took lots of pictures and walked across the bridge. When we got back in town we went to the Irish Pub again for lunch. Gil treated. Stopped at the local No Frills market for some groceries then picked up a scrap board for a sign.
I painted the board. At 3 we had our travel briefing. At 4 we boarded a school bus for a trip to the Sewell Wild Game farm. It was raining so we had the dinner in a Quonset hut. Had wild boar, elk and buffalo meats along w/many salads, potatoes, veggies and, of course, desserts. Afterward we strolled around the ranch to see the boar, elk, and other animals. Roni was able to feed the elk. Got back around 8 and it started raining again. Watched the movie Marley & Me.
Someone actually took a nice group photo of the gang. Hopefully, we'll all get a copy.
Beautiful murel's painted all over town on the buildings.
This bridge is solid wood - quite impressive.
Needless to say, not one of the wild animals. He just walked around to everyone to be petted.
This is the beginning of the wildlife - boars - yuk running around in the mud.
Oh what a cute burrow!!!
I got a chance to feed Elk and Rheindeer.
