Saw more beautiful sights and water falls along the  trip.  We teamed up with two other rigs ( Ron & Jackie and Dave & Lynn) also had Dick and Bev ahead of us. We stopped at the Ancient Rainforest trail. Roni and I walked the 1 mile or so trail.   There were huge cedar trees in clusters of 3 – 5.  Somehow when seedlings start to grow, they end up in circles and that is how they grow – very interesting.  We all traveled together to a resort called Purden Lake for great pies, according to Spence, our Tailgunner. However the place was closed and many of the rigs were there so we had lunch on their tables out front.   Needless to say, we gave Spenc e a hard time about it.  Little did we know, he had a surprise for us the following day.  Along the way we saw 2 black bears, deer, and an eagle. When we got to Prince George we had to unhook the Jeep as the spots were tight. We parked close in back of Art and Jill. Tonight we met 3 new couples that are joining the trip. Drove into Prince George and stopped at the Canadian Superstore, a huge grocery. Most prices were much higher than the States. We watched a movie called the Tourist  until late.

Talk about huge cedar trees!!!

Since this restaurant wasn't opening until tomorrow, we made our own lunches and enjoyed sitting out and chatting w/friends.

Talk about parking close - yikes!!!
