Had a little breakfast at the Café. Everyone was leaving after 9:30 for Tok. We left about 10AM and many others left about the same time. Traveled with Dave & Ron. I led. The first 2-3 miles or road was dirt and rough. After that the road wasn’t too bad. We saw a large black bear along the way that seemed to have a wound in the left rear leg. The last few miles to Tok were on Alaska Highway 2 which was good and seemed like a dream after the last 2 days. At Tok, we fueled and then had a group RV washing that lasted about 2.5 hours. It rained while we were washing the rigs. Spencer had trouble with his engine so had to go to a shop in Tok. We had a travel briefing and then all went to Fast Eddie’s for dinner. We sat with Carl and Chris.
